The British vocal ensemble Stile Antico is considered one of the world's most accomplished and innovative vocal ensembles. Besides performing in many of the world's most prestigious concert halls, they are particularly at Wigmore Hall in London. It is also a regular guest at leading European festivals such as the Laus Polyphoniae in Antwerp and the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival. Its best-selling recordings have been awarded numerous prizes, such as the Gramophone Award for Early Music and the German Record Critics' Prize. In addition to its concert and recording activities, the twelve members of the ensemble are particularly interested in making their music and democratic way of working (without a conductor) accessible to as wide an audience as possible with the help of master classes and workshops.
